Top German Kitchen Trends for 2022

At this time of year, we’re busy working behind the scenes on our new year product launch. As part of this process we recently visited our manufacturing partner, Nolte, in Germany to get a feel for what they see as the trends and innovations for 2022.

Here’s a sneak preview of our some of our favourites…

A Modern take on CountRy

The trend of pairing a classic framed door with a modern paint colour, handles and lighting continues in 2022. Here’s a kitchen with a matching boot room with ‘tongue & grooved’ panels. It’s painted in a new ‘Graphite’ colour finish (but could equally be in a deep blue or emerald green) which brings a moody, contemporary, feel.

Introducing living space furniture

We’re very excited to be expanding our range of living furniture, bookcases, TV cabinets and more in 2022.  Great for open plan spaces, they link colour, texture and design style from the kitchen to other spaces in the home. Perfect for open plan rooms.

Bold woodgrains with plain doors and matching handles

Woodgrain kitchen cabinets can bring real depth to a kitchen design. Here, woodgrains are used to zone parts of the kitchen. New for 2022 in our German kitchen ranges is that the same woodgrain can be brought through in solid wood handles, and to the centre of the door itself.

Introducing ‘Neo’

Here’s a glimpse of the new top of the range ‘Neo’ line.  Truly the pinnacle of our German range. Think of Neo as a trim level when specifying a car.  It’s our AMG if you like. Unique styles and high-level specification brought through in some amazing door finishes, drawer specification and lighting.

Super-height wall cabinets

High ceilings? No problem! In 2022 we launch 1050mm, 1200mm and 1350mm high wall cabinets. No more wasted space between the wall units and the ceiling…
