When Jonny and Becci decided to renovate their kitchen, their goal was to create a calm, welcoming space that worked seamlessly for family life. The project followed a full room renovation, which included extending the kitchen by a metre to increase both light and functionality.

A timeless balance of texture and tone

Designer Francesca worked closely with Jonny and Becci to achieve a refined balance between neutral plaster tones and warm mid-century styling. The design pairs Nolte Neo Feel in Sahara with Nolte Neo Oak Lodge in Oak Diamond, highlighted by sleek Manganese handle profiles. Together, these finishes create a tranquil yet characterful atmosphere where textures, not colours, take centre stage.

Crafted details and modern functionality

This design celebrates subtle craftsmanship and modern convenience in equal measure. Notable features include:

  • Dekton Adia worktops with a waterfall end and full-height splashback featuring a mitred join

  • Quooker black tap and Neff venting hob

  • Pull-out waste system for seamless practicality

  • Custom internal drawer organisation throughout

Designed for family life

At the heart of the brief was flexibility — a kitchen that could shift effortlessly from family hub to evening retreat. By day, it’s the place for family meals and after-school homework. By night, it transforms into a serene setting for Jonny and Becci to cook and unwind together.

Storage was another key consideration. Everything needed its place to keep the space clutter-free and organised. Fran incorporated Nolte’s extra-deep drawer units with smart internal inserts throughout, and designed a bespoke bi-folding breakfast pantry with an integrated sensor light, allowing everyday essentials to be tucked neatly away.

A considered process

The Kitchen Store team worked with Jonny and Becci over a six-month period, from concept to completion, ensuring every finish and fitting was perfectly aligned with their vision. The result is a kitchen that feels both personal and enduring — a space that celebrates everyday moments while reflecting the couple’s understated, elegant taste.
