Our friendly kitchen designers will spend time getting to know you and your family, and how you envisage your new kitchen. They’ll ensure that all the desired components come together seamlessly and work in harmony with your lifestyle and day-to-day requirements. And ultimately, of course, they’ll make sure it delivers the wow factor you’re looking for. Here’s how it normally works…

GET INSPIRED

First of all, there is no substitute to calling in to one of our stores to see our ranges in real life. We have the largest showrooms of the independent retailers in Sussex and our displays are life-sized. You’re sure to find something to inspire you. Our friendly designers are on-hand to talk through any questions you have about our range of German & British kitchens or the process itself.

THINK ABOUT STORAGE

When you visit our stores, you’ll be able to view a large range of clever storage solutions; from corners to drawers, from walk-in larders to inventive pull-out units. Think about solutions that will help you reduce your movements around the kitchen and maximise your storage space. Our designers will be on hand to offer some tips and friendly advice.

MEET A DESIGNER

When you’re ready, speak to one of our designers about your ideas. You can meet in-store or make an appointment to video call. When you meet they’ll aim to get to know your lifestyle and how you’ve imagined life in your new kitchen. The more we understand about how you’ll use your kitchen, the better we’re able to match the right design, units and appliances to your needs – giving you a kitchen that you’ll love for years to come.

CREATING YOUR DESIGN

After the initial meeting, we will set to work on your first design.  This normally takes around 5 working days.  Once it’s ready we will arrange to present your design to you either face to face or by video call. Using a combination of 3D walk-through’s and photo-realistic images, this is when things really start to come to life.  You can tell us what you love and what you don’t; we’ll refine the design until its perfect.

PRICING AND BUDGET

During your design presentation, your designer will give you an itemised quotation – finding a style that works for your budget is of course very important,Our range and our designers will be happy to guide you on that.  Our range of British & German kitchens is broad – with around 200 door styles – so you’ll be sure to find one to meet your budget.  Our prices start from £12,000.

MEET YOUR INSTALLER

The Kitchen Store is proud to be the only independent Sussex-based company awarded FIRA Gold for its installation service. Once your design is agreed and your deposit paid, we’ll arrange for your installer to visit your home to complete a technical survey.  This typically involves checking dimensions and locations of services such as water, gas and electrics.  If we’re undertaking any other work such as plastering or ripping out your old kitchen, we’ll assess that too.  Once we get the green light the furniture goes into production!

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

Our furniture production varies from five to eight weeks depending on the range.  All our furniture is made to order and is delivered to your home by a specialist team of furniture unloaders. You can relax in the knowledge that you’ll receive an excellent level of customer service throughout. From design and order to delivery and professional installation of your new kitchen, we are committed to delivering a first-class service.
