Unique Blue and Copper modern kitchen in Horsham

When Sue and Steve visited The Kitchen Store in Horsham, their vision was complex: contrasting deep blue and copper cabinets, drawing inspiration from industrial style without compromising their comfortable and inviting home. They chose this extraordinary kitchen as part of rear extension project to increase cooking and living space in their home.

To achieve this aesthetic, they chose to work with Masterclass cabinetry due to its wide range and high-quality finishes. The Inkwell Blue Sutton cabinets ground the design, complimented by the vibrance of the Copper Oxide Deco cabinets on the back wall of the kitchen. Sleek AEG appliances were fitted across the kitchen to avoid drawing attention away from the stunning copper features.

Sue and Steve also paired a more traditional white marble work surface with a highly textured, rust-inspired Dekton Trillium slab on the kitchen island. This unique scheme adds to the playful energy of the space, pulling inspiration from both industrial kitchen and modern trends. Large pendant lights with a similar brushed copper oxide finish bring these accents together with the Deco cabinets. A Masterclass wine rack with built-in lighting in the island is sleek and practical addition to the kitchen.

Frequently asked questions about our Horsham showroom

  • The Kitchen Store provides a 12-month supply and fit installation warranty on workmanship. Manufacturer warranties are also held for all key partners including Nolte, Masterclass, Caesarstone, Silestone, AEG, BORA, Miele, Bosch, Neff, Siemens and others.

  • Experience matters enormously in kitchen design and installation. As a rule of thumb, look for a company with at least a decade of trading behind them — better still, one whose reputation in the local area is well established and independently verified through reviews, accreditations, and word of mouth.

  • A great kitchen designer combines formal training with real-world experience. Relevant qualifications include degrees in interior design, furniture design or spatial planning. Industry-specific training from bodies such as FIRA is a strong indicator of professional standards. Beyond qualifications, look for a demonstrable portfolio of completed projects, knowledge of leading brands, and the ability to guide you confidently through materials, layouts and finishes. At The Kitchen Store, designers bring together formal expertise and years of hands-on experience.

  • Whether you visit in the showroom or prefer the convenience of a video call, your consultation is the start of a genuinely collaborative process. The team will take time to understand your space, your style, and how you use your kitchen, then guide you through every decision, from the first concept right through to final installation. There’s no pressure, just expert advice and a shared passion for getting it right.

  • Independent retailers such as The Kitchen Store source furniture from carefully selected global brands, chosen for quality and design credentials, so you tend to get something more unique. The experience is personal too. Our designers work collaboratively with you through every stage, taking the time to understand how you cook, how you live, and getting every detail and finish exactly right. The result is a kitchen that’s truly and uniquely yours.
