Catherine joined The Kitchen Store after graduating from the University of Brighton with a BAHons degree in Interior Architecture. Starting as Designer, Cat progressed to Senior Design Specialist then on to Manager of our Horsham store. Cat work’s closely with customers to achieve the ideal design for their new kitchen and project manages the whole process from initial design concept through to installation.
Mark is an experienced designer and first worked with our furniture range over sixteen years ago. Mark joined The Kitchen Store as Design Consultant, progressing via Senior Designer and Design Manager to his current position as Store Manager for our Lancing store at the Paula Rosa Manhattan factory.

Jan celebrated his eleventh year with The Kitchen Store in April. As Director he has responsibility for our flagship store in Hove and is oversees all store sales and customer care. He works with many customers on their kitchen refurbishments and is admired for his practical approach! Prior to The Kitchen Store, Jan spent time in kitchens of another kind as a General Manager in catering and hospitality running various prestigious sites in London and Denmark.
Jason is responsible for all activities relating to delivery of service to our customers and is passionate about the high level of customer service that is offered by all members of the team. Prior to The Kitchen Store, Jason worked at Manhattan Furniture for over 16 years, where he first worked with Alan our MD, before progressing through the business to Group Sales Support Manager.

Kevin is a familiar face at our Brighton & Hove store where he joined as part of the founding team. A Senior Design Specialist, Kevin works with customers on a range of projects large and small designing kitchens for homes throughout Sussex.
“I’m very proud that one of my designs is featured in our promotional materials and as an advert in Portfolio magazine.” Outside of The Kitchen Store, Kevin is renovating his first home from start to finish. “My design skills have certainly proved very valuable and I’ve also designed and installed my own kitchen.”
Kerry is part of our close-knit Brighton and Hove design team. She works with customers throughout Sussex developing their kitchen designs and managing them through to completion.
Martin manages our Manhattan48 service for tradespeople and professionals. He handles the process from start to finish, through design, sales, order management, delivery management and ensuring repeat custom. Prior to The Kitchen Store Martin worked in construction.
Sian is the Senior Projects Coordinator for our Lancing & Hove stores and manages all our customers orders, our installers and stone masons to bring kitchens to life.
Zach joined The Kitchen Store as our first apprentice. Since completing his apprenticeship he is now an Kitchen Designer working in our Horsham store. Zach’s works directly with customers in the store, draws plans and quotes their designs.
Haley joined The Kitchen Store as a Product Advisor in 2007. After years of building her product knowledge she is an expert on Paula Rosa Manhattan products past and present. As the senior team member in The Kitchen Store Direct team she helps customers throughout the country add to their existing Paula Rosa Manhattan kitchens.
Maria was parting of our founding team back in 2004. As Senior Administrator she aids our designers by raising orders, informing customers of deliveries, taking payments, checking quality and general admin. Maria has worked in the kitchen industry for over 20 years – including time at both Manhattan Furniture and Paula Rosa – so it comes as no surprise that she knows our Paula Rosa Manhattan kitchens like no one else.
Kate is responsible for the day-to-day running of our finance team. Since joining the Company Kate’s proud to have achieved a diploma in AAT accountancy and survived two year-ends!
Alan founded the Company in 2004 and has spent his career in and around interiors and construction. Prior to The Kitchen Store he was a director of our partners Manhattan Furniture (now Paula Rosa Manhattan). Alan is a previous Sussex Entrepreneur of the Year and Sussex Boss of the Year.
Dave is our longest-serving installer and has been fitting kitchens throughout Sussex for over 20 years. Dave’s attention to detail when installing kitchens is second to none. He goes the extra mile to ensure kitchens are fitted to our exacting standards. His kitchen workmanship was last independently assessed in January 2017 where he was awarded Gold by our testing body, FIRA.
