We’re full of admiration for our clients on this project in Woodingdean, Brighton who not only remodelled their kitchen and living spaces into one with a separate utility area, but did the rest of the house simultaneously.
Our brief was to create a contemporary space which would work well as part of a larger theme, be good for entertaining and incorporate a bronze accent.
Our Masterclass ‘Sutton’ range was selected. Using Masterclass for this project allowed us to include a bronze handle-less trim (Masterclass paint their trims which is quite unique and opens up all sorts of possibilities with colours). The paint colour on the door is ‘Scots Grey’ and we’ve paired it with our ‘Madoc’ range in ‘Portland Oak’, on the wall and island units to bring a warm contemporary accent.
The worksurfaces are 20mm thick ‘White Attica’ from Caeasarstone. Aside from essential preparation space, the kitchen island doubles as a dual-sided dining table and in this section we’ve used 30mm stone. We’ve also made use of the stone for the full-height splashbacks and the vertical (waterfall) ends on the island.
There are ovens, hobs, and other appliances from AEG and Zanussi. Also included is a Quooker Fusion tap in Patinated Brass.
The kitchen was designed by Design Manager, Kevin, and project-managed by Gabby our Operations Manager, from our Brighton & Hove showroom.
